Al has worked in the building industry for over 30 years in England, NZ, UAE and Australia. He has worked in consultancy in Architecture and Building Services, in Building Services fabrication and on site installation. Al has worked as a BIM Manager for Lendlease for 4 years.
Harlan is a Revit Product Manager with Autodesk focused on Architecture and Construction. Based in Manchester, NH, he has spent 9 years helping customers realize the power BIM in a variety of roles. Before joining Autodesk, he worked for AEC firms in the Midwestern USA on a wide variety of project types. Anthony is the Principal - Digital Engineering at EIC Activities. This role oversees the implementation of BIM, GIS and Engineering systems across the CIMIC group of companies for projects in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore. Anthony is a chartered engineer with a background in technical design and engineering management predominantly in infrastructure, energy and resources sectors. Anthony has been involved in the implementation of BIM and VDC across the group’s community of practice and major infrastructure and building projects including Sydney Metro North West, Westconnex, Christchurch Hospital ASB and Passenger Clearance Building, Hong Kong. Anthony is currently the secretary of buildingSMART Australasia.
Clive Daniel has over 18 years’ experience in the Construction and Engineering industry. Clive has been involved in the implementation of Revit at various consultancies prior to joining Laing O’Rourke. Recently as a Senior Digital Engineer Clive has been responsible for leading Laing O’Rourke’s DE agenda on major projects including the Wheatstone LNG Process Plant in Onslow and the Easy Access Station Upgrade Projects in Sydney.
MYD Consulting Engineers
Originally Salvo was a chartered construction engineer in Italy. He now works for MYD Consulting Engineers as an Associate BIM Manager whose responsibilities are implementing BIM (Building Information Modelling), developing protocols, workflows, standards and providing in-house training. He has 20 years of experience in architecture, engineering, building services and BIM. Salvo has an in-depth understanding of all areas of construction, whose experience includes working in Italy, United Kingdom and Australia.
He is passionate about harnessing the power of software to aid design innovation and keenly tracks the emergence of new technologies. He is an 'outside of the box' thinker, able to produce original and creative solutions.
Lucy has had a varied career, starting as a marine engineering officer in the Royal Australian Navy, managing ship refits and maintenance rectification. She then moved to Europe where she was initially a contract administrator and hull surveyor for yacht construction in Italy and then a procurement manager in London. After London she moved to Abu Dhabi as a procurement manager for major projects and as a hand over and commissioning manager for two major university projects. On her return to Australia she was the National Procurement Manager for JLL Project and Delivery Services where she was responsible for development, implementation and management of construction work programs and procurement strategies and was awarded a NAWIC merit award for Contribution to a Project for the Westpac Bank Now program in 2014. Lucy is now a Senior Project Manager for healthcare and education projects.
Stephan has been with the Autodesk for almost 2 years as a Technical Product Specialist for Advance Steel. Prior to joining Autodesk, he was a Senior Structural Draftsman & Steel Detailer / CAD Administrator for 15 years using many forms of software including Autodesk / Intergraph / Bentley. Stephan also has 10 year’s experience in API development in AutoCAD & Windows.

Pablo is a Mexican architect from Universidad Iberoamericana with more than 10 years of experience implementing VDC methodologies in different type of projects, including: elevated highways, bridges, waste water treatment plants and subways among others.
He has lectured at different international forums, such as; Autodesk University, Autodesk Extensions, International BIM summit at Peru & Chile, and RTC Europe.

Ali Reza Mostafavi
MYD Consulting Engineers
Ali Reza Mostafavi is the design manager of MYD Consulting Engineers. He obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Structural Engineering and has 15 years of experience in in design and construction of residential/commercial buildings, bridges and industrial structures. He is a professional member of Engineers Australia and he has published several papers and developed codes for structural analysis/design.
Brian Russell is the Business Line Manager for V-Ray for Revit out of Chaos Group`s Baltimore office. He has over 17 years’ experience in Architectural Visualization and Building Information Modelling in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry. His extensive experience in creating and implementing BIM workflows is an instrumental part of the products development. Brian has served on the National BIM Standards committee, aided in the development of the BIM Institute at Towson University and regularly teaches a BIM theory and practice course at the Community College of Baltimore County. Brian has spoken at numerous events all over the US and consults regularly on BIM projects and standards.
