Robert is the Design Technology Manager for Sparling, a specialty electrical engineering and technology consulting firm in the United States, headquartered in Seattle Washington. He provides strategic direction, technical oversight, and high-level support for Sparling’s enterprise design and production technology systems. He is instrumental in positioning Sparling as an industry and client leader in leveraging technology in virtual building and design. Robert has been in the MEP industry for over 25 years and has used every release of Revit MEP from its release as Revit Systems.

Julien is BIM manager for Legendre Group, a French general contractor based in Rennes. With an experience of 15 years in construction management on and off site, he started with Revit in late 2008. Formerly working for Bouygues Construction, Julien is now responsible for BIM implementation in Legendre’s construction company, in charge of Revit integration, from Design team, technical department and cost estimation to construction sites and concrete precast plant. He is part of the new Rennes subway line team, in charge of structural coordination in Legendre’s scope of work. Eric Bernier is a Senior Architectural Technologist with more than 16 years of experience who began to use Revit since Autodesk acquired it. Eric worked also for an Autodesk reseller as BIM technical director, overseeing the AEC teams and implementing Revit. He was also BIM Leader of a 1.4M sqft hospital project. Eric is currently the President and owner of Zenit Consultants, and holds the position of Co-President of the Montreal BIM User Group.

Lorraine Chazal

Lorraine Chazal graduated from the Architecture School of Nancy in 2007. 
After several experiences in architecture studios such as ANMA and Architecture Patrick Mauger, she joined the Atelier Chaix & Morel et Associés in 2010. She is in charge of the Campus Urbalad project, 80,000 m² of research, development and industrialization for the French tires group : Michelin. From studies to the construction site, the project was developed on Revit and around a 3D model. She will attend the RTC alongside Ka-Ra, BIM partner of Chaix & Morel et Associés on this major project.

Tom de Plater is currently the Design Systems Specialist at Peddle Thorp Architects. Since graduating a Masters’ of Architecture at the University of Queensland, has worked on a variety of projects in scale for AECOM and Billard Leece Partnership. With 3D and visualization being a personal hobby, Tom set up a rendering studio while in his 3rd year of study. This quickly led to the use and pursuit of BIM software, namely Revit Architecture, and from this has built a career educating people, and searching for the most efficient way to achieve results.

Riet is a self-employed BIM Consultant from the Netherlands, working with Revit since version 5.1. Martijn has a bachelor degree in Building Science. After his study he started his own engineering firm working for contractors, architects and private clients. Starting 2007 his company transformed into a full-time BIM consultancy service. At the moment Martijn's clients vary from mid-sized architectural firms to the largest dutch General Contracter and MEP Engineering firms, with a focus on specific corporate solutions, design and implementations of Revit and BIM workflows. Martijn is a member of the Dutch Revit User Group and primary author / creator of the Dutch RUG Revit Standards Master Template. He provides lectures for companies, technical universities, seminars and such on a regular basis.

Andreas has been working with CAD & BIM applications since the mid-nineties. He began using Revit in 2007 and since then has never wanted to do another project without it. Andreas teaches various classes on Building Information Modeling and parametric design at RWTH Aachen University / Germany where he has been working as teaching / research fellow for the chair of Computer Aided Architectural Design (CAAD) for about a decade now. Since 2011, he has also been teaching BIM and parametrics workshops at conferences and other universities. Andreas is one of the founding partners of the Aachen-based architectural office IP arch, which completed its first major projects in 2010. When he is not busy working on his PhD thesis, he regularly contributes new packages to the Dynamo community.

Jason Dodds

Jason Dodds, coauthor of “Mastering Navisworks 2012 and 2013″, is President/Owner of DFourInc located in Denver, CO. Jason has been actively involved in the construction and technology community for over 15 years. During his career, Jason’s focus and experience has been with construction, construction administration, MEP, architecture, structures, technology, sales, marketing, and business development. He has been involved in all facets of construction processes and understands what it takes to complete projects on time and under budget. Jason has experience with estimating, coordination, fabrication, scheduling, and project management. Jason is also considered the expert on Autodesk Quantity Takeoff (QTO) and helped pioneer many advancements with the technology. Jason also used Navisworks for over 10 years on active construction projects around the world. Jason is also a recognized speaker at national events such as the Associated General Contractors (AGC), American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE), Autodesk University and BIM Forum, among others.

Juan Carlos Garza

Juan Carlos holds a Major in Civil Engineering by Anahuac University, Mexico City, with a Minor in sustainable development and a CAPM title. Juan has five years of experience in project management and construction around Mexico. He has participated several times in Quality and Innovation contest. He is an active member of the I+D+I commission at ICA. In several times he collaborated with Autodesk developing more efficient workflows for Revit. He is currently working with Autodesk on Project Meridian, Project Ivanov and The Innovation Genoma Project. At the end of the 2013 he established a partnership with Sofistik. He works closely with the structural design department and the topography area, innovating new ways of delivering more information in less time to the clients. He is an early adopter of Lean Construction, Virtual Design & Construction, BIM and Project Management Institute Methodologies. Likes to collaborate and make networking with many people.

Tamara Gasteiger was born in Kufstein, Austria. She graduated in civil engineering at the University of Innsbruck, Austria. In 2013 she passed the qualifying exam to become a master-builder. In 2012 she joined the b.i.m.m-team around Anton Gasteiger. She is now working both in b.i.m.m GmbH and AGA-Bau Planungs GmbH. In b.i.m.m - GmbH she is consulting with a number of companies as BIM consultant, doing research projects and working in a task force creating a BIM-standard. In AGA-Bau Planungs GmbH she gets the practical background for researching and can implement and realize the results in practice. There she is utilizing BIM for design, structural analysis as well as for quantity surveys.

Nicholas M. Kramer, LEED® AP,is the Director of Technology for Perkowitz+Ruth Architects, an international commercial, retail, housing and residential firm based out of Long Beach, California. He has been using Revit since version 8.1 on projects ranging from 400,000sf to 600sf and from medical to libraries to commercial and office buildings. Nicholas has actively run projects day to day as well as help to implement Revit and new technologies along with the development of standards, processes and best practices for worldwide architectural companies. Additionally, he is currently working with some of the largest construction companies in the world to implement these practices and new technologies. At Perkowitz+Ruth, Nicholas provides strategic direction for BIM and new technologies spearheads the company’s research and development group and overseas the company’s Technology department. In addition to Perkowitz+Ruth, Nicholas is currently serving as the co-chairman for the South Coast Revit Users Group (SCRUG), has guest lectured on BIM and sustainability at UCLA, Autodesk University and other forums.

Pablo Lezama is a Mexican Architect graduated from Universidad Iberoamericana. He has over 8 years of professional experience in design and construction. Pablo is leading the structure department in ICAbim (The BIM division inside ICA, which is the largest construction company in Mexico) and is in charge of modeling precast, specialized and heavy construction. Jim Lynch is a 25 year veteran of the CAD industry and has served in a variety of senior management roles in the building, manufacturing, and electronic design automation industries.  As Vice President of Autodesk’s Building & Collaboration Group, Jim and his 450+  global team are responsible for designing and developing the family of products  that serve the needs of the worldwide building industry, across the entire lifecycle, from conceptual design through detailed design, to construction and operations  The portfolio includes the Revit family of products, the Building Design Suites, M.A.P. Prior to his Building &Collaboration product group role, Jim was the Vice President of Industry Marketing for Autodesk’s AEC Division, where he and his team were responsible for developing and driving the business strategy and execution plan for Autodesk’s industry leading design and management solutions that serve the AEC industry.   

Prior to his role as AEC Industry Marketing Vice President, Jim served as Senior Director of Product Development, responsible for leading the division’s global software engineering activities.  Jim joined Autodesk in 1997 and led the design and implementation of their next generation Mechanical CAD solution, Autodesk Inventor.    

Before joining Autodesk, Jim spent over eight years at Oregon-based Mentor Graphics, a global leader in Electronic Design Automation.   He holds a BS in Computer Science from Fitchburg State College.

Brian has clients all over the US and Canada that generally tolerate his sarcastic nature in exchange for his wide breadth of BIM knowledge. Brian showcases his love of talking about Revit, or maybe just his love talking, in a monthly light-hearted, occasionally irreverent, free Q&A webcast, Revit Radio. After obtaining her bachelor's and master’s degrees from University of California, Davis and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, she perpetuated her nerdy tendencies with Revit. She started her career in California with a construction company, then with a structural engineering firm, and now is a practicing structural engineer and BIM Manager at Martin/Martin in Denver, Colorado. Dezi is a regular speaker at many conferences, she co-founded the Rocky Mountain Building Information Society, is the Chair of the Structural Engineers Association of Colorado's BIM Committee, and is currently serving as an AUGI board member and Vice President. Finally, as if that is not enough Revit in her life, she is married to “The Revit Geek” and acts as a partner in his BIM consulting firm, BD Mackey Consulting.

He has spoken at: RTC NA, Autodesk University, has been a guest lecturer at the BAC, and has presented at BIM events hosted by the AIA, ACEC, Autodesk and resellers. Enrique is an architect with a broad experience in large scale international projects. Presently working at KPF, he previously was an associate at Foster+Partners in London, and a site architect at Ateliers Jean Nouvel in Paris, where he had the opportunity to participate in high-profile schemes. He co-founded esc-studio in 2010 winning several international competitions. His independent work has been exhibited in Pompidou Centre in Paris, and published internationally in Wallpaper (UK), C3 Architecture (Korea) and IA&B (India). Enrique has been actively involved in academia, as adjunct professor at McGill University in Montreal, and a research fellow in Human-Computer Interaction at London College of Fashion. He has a specialisation in computational design and co-authored the book “Arduino and Kinect Projects” for Apress in 2012. Enrique studied architecture at the University of Seville and the Ecole d’Architecture de Strasbourg. He holds an MSc on Adaptive Architecture and Computation from the Bartlett.

David’s enthusiasm lies in highlighting the potential of new technologies and how we interact with them to bring added value to our customers and unlock new ways of working throughout the entire life-cycle.  David is passionate about our industry and perceives BIM as being a catalyst for reform.

An early adopter of practical change and purposeful collaboration, David is currently seconded to the UK BIM Task Group . He is also chair of the BIM2050 and BIM4 steering group.

He still lives in Scotland and his hobbies include photography and collecting air miles.  He is a Professor at Glasgow Caledonian University and visiting Professor at Middlesex University.

He has implemented & managed Revit in multiple offices, and supported teams on projects ranging from small scale commercial tenant improvements to a $500,000,000 signature Higher Ed project. He has always believed happy and productive staff are key to a firm’s success, and found as many ways as possible to make the IT aspects of BIM Management efficient, so he could focus on the training and support aspects of that role. In 2010 he founded Pragmatic Praxis (formerly the Pragmatic Reviteer) to provide web based Revit training, tools and support.

Casey is an architect and Associate Director at Arup Associates, specialising in BIM project design and delivery. He is responsible for the Architectural application of BIM processes throughout the company's offices. Whilst fulfilling the role of overall Information Manager and/or BIM co-ordinator on Arup Associates' projects and others across the Arup group, Casey is often found in infrastructure, engineering, knowledge-sharing and education forums.

Mainly working with laboratories, housing and refurbishment/conservation having CAD and Quality Assurance responsibilities. Is now following a career as a Revit and BIM-expert. Has been responsible for the most widely spread package of Revit templates and content for the Swedish Architectural market. Has been helping numerous companies with traning and implementation of Revit in their work. Has been specifying and worked with the development of the most used package of Revit add-ins in the Nordics. In recent years the main function has been to work as a BIM-expert in very large projects in the Nordics.

Steven C. Shell graduated from the University of Arizona in 1982, and has had his own architectural firm in Tucson, Arizona for over 25 years. He has been using Revit Architecture® for over 10 years and is the co-founder and co-chair of the Southern Arizona Revit Users Group. Mr. Shell is certified by Autodesk in Revit Architecture 2014. He has presented at Autodesk University (AU) for the past 4 years and lectured at the University of Arizona’s College of Architecture, Pima Community College and was a speaker at all 3 Revit Technology Conferences North America (RTC-NA), where his class was voted one of the top 10 all 3 years. He is also an ongoing presenter at the Central States Revit Workshop which will soon include the North Atlantic & Pacific Revit Workshops in 2014. In addition to his practice and teaching Revit, he currently serves as the Chair for the City of Tucson’s Board of Adjustment where he previously served as chairperson for 8 years, as well as serving 10 years on the City’s Design Review Board and Sign Code Advisory & Appeals Board prior.

Working full-time at LHB, a 240-person multidiscipline firm in Minnesota, USA, Daniel provides training and support for all disciplines of Autodesk® Revit® (Architecture, Structure and MEP), AutoCAD® Civil 3D®, and AutoCAD. Dan is a member of the Autodesk Developer Network and an Autodesk Revit Architecture 2011 Certified Professional. He has taught AutoCAD and Revit classes for 12 years at Lake Superior College, and currently teaches BIM to interior design students at North Dakota State University. Håvard Vasshaug

Håvard Vasshaug is a structural engineer, Revit power user and Digital Design Manager at Dark, one of Norway's largest planning, architecture and interior design practices. He has vast experience providing Revit training, solutions and seminars for architects and engineers at Autodesk Authorized Training Centers the past 8 years, and now uses this background to share knowledge of Revit solutions at Dark and to whoever else that enjoys it. He is a part of the Autodesk BIM Open Source Project Steering Committee, and a member of the program committee of, and presenter at The Smart Drawing Conference. He also presented at Autodesk University 2012 and Revit Technology Conference North America 2013. Håvard is an enthusiastic blogger and national Revit forum administrator. Laurent Vidal is co-CEO and associated architect for KA-RA  a French  IT company developing  twinmotion.  After receiving his Masters in Architecture degree from the University of Strasbourg, Laurent worked as Autodesk certified instructor, on Revit and 3D Autodesk software.
